Gaddafi orders internet black out in Libya

It seems to become a standard measure out of the ultimate guidebook for today’s dictators. Let’s cut off the internet so our citizens can not mass anymore against us (or sort of).

This is the same modus operandi as was used by Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak after his thirty years in power.

Gaddafi had a total black out ordered since saturday already.

Dozens of protesters were killed in clashes with Libyan security forces as the unrest seems to be culminating, leaving the suppressed Libyan population in the line of fire after Gaddafi’s four decades in power.
